The Story: part 1
Rock'n'Roll Dreams
One blustery winter night in a basement in Madison, Wisconsin, 2 brothers along with a couple of high school buddies were experimenting with molecular physics, in an attempt to transform the basic elements of Rock'n'Roll. When suddenly, a power chord rang out, followed by a flurry of notes and a dense wave of uncontrollable feedback. In that very moment the essence of what would later become known as "Dairy Fusion" was born.
Meanwhile, back in New York, executives from five of the major record labels sat anxiously in a conference room over-looking lower Manhattan. Realizing that their empire was threatened, they were in deep discussion about how to quickly deal with the dilemma at hand, while keeping their operations discrete to the media.
"I've got it!", blurted the bald-headed rotund man with the large cigar. "We can promote a new trend. Music with a beat so simple that your grandmother could dance to it. We'll call it pogo, no hip go, no disco, yes, we'll call it disco".
And so, the devious plan was unleashed, sending shockwaves throughout the music world. One by one, guitar slinging head-bangers were toppled from their deitous perches, leaving behind only a remnant of defiant rockers, armed with a few chords and some indiscernible lyrics. But one brother, determined to fight, chose to relocate to the belly of the beast, Hollywood, California.
